We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) Finance team. The successful candidate will collaborate with MS&A business leadership to develop financial strategies, drive analytics, and enable business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advice and Partnership:
    • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to the Global Merchant Sales and Acquiring (MS&A) leadership team.
    • Lead MS&A deals finance engagements with business development teams globally to structure client proposals for Acceptance, Cobrand, and Value Added Services (VAS) partnerships.
    • Develop and maintain management information reporting for MS&A, presenting timely KPIs with actionable insights on sales pipeline and revenue drivers for VAS, CMS, Acceptance, Cobrand, and MS&A strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
    • Support the preparation of planning cycles, including annual budgets and quarterly outlooks.
    • Support opex performance diagnostics, decision support for investments, and workforce management and planning.
    • Collaborate with the Finance Velocity Office to expand client-level revenue reporting to include all client types in the acquiring ecosystem.
    • Establish VAS and strategic initiatives reporting dimensionality to enable revenue and sales growth measurement.
    • Streamline finance processes and continuously improve the quality of outputs and overall performance of the team.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • This is a hybrid position, requiring occasional travel (5-10% of the time).
    • The incumbent will work in an office setting, requiring regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with a strong emphasis on revenue drivers and client incentive agreements.
  • Advanced level of Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other financial reporting systems.
  • Ability to influence senior executives and business partners.
  • Able to work effectively in a dual reporting matrix environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with other functional areas (Finance and the business) and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results.
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
  • Client-focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts with excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and an eye for details to ensure accuracy and quality of output.
  • High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders.
  • Investment banking and/or management consulting experience a plus.
