ED Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ED Technician to join our team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As an ED Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our emergency department team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist with phlebotomy and IV procedures.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the emergency department team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an emergency department or with a rescue squad.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
