Job Summary

Buffalo Hospital, a non-profit regional medical center, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its team. As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia care to patients in a hospital setting, working closely with the Anesthesia Care Team Model. This is a unique opportunity to work in a metro-style practice with a home call rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients, including pre-anesthesia assessment, airway management, and post-anesthesia recovery.
  • Collaborate with the department team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in CPR and respiratory care as needed.
  • Insert peripheral and arterial catheters, and perform arterial punctures to obtain blood samples.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and Master's degree in Nurse Anesthetist program required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required, or 2-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Anesthetist required upon hire.
  • ACLS/BLS Tier 2-Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support required upon hire.
