Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break room, library, kitchenette, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Dust furniture and equipment, polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork, wash door panels and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to the disposal area and recycle it to designated areas.
  • Replenish restroom supplies, maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Responsible for producing quality work, following safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and other activities.
  • Complete and maintain all Didlake required training.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED or 6 months of previous custodial work experience.
  • Ability to carry out simple but detailed instructions, communicate with co-workers.
  • Must possess a positive team member attitude, ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities.
  • Ability to work in environments with narrow, moving, and/or slippery surfaces.
