Job Overview

We seek an exceptional Software Engineer (Data) with a PhD in a relevant field to join our AI Platform team. This critical role involves developing scalable data systems, designing robust algorithms, and advancing our AI platform. If you have a passion for data engineering, machine learning, and solving complex challenges, this position is ideal for you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to process large datasets efficiently.
  • Algorithm Design: Develop advanced algorithms for data processing, feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate data solutions into production systems.
  • Scalability: Ensure that data systems are designed to handle growth in data volume and complexity.
  • Research and Innovation: Leverage your expertise to stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and big data.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and contribute to code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related computational field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL workflows.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Salary Range: 150k-180k
