Responsibilities

  • Staffing: You will function according to the facility Registered Nurse job description when staffing at hospitals and nursing homes.
  • Charge: You will be informed by a coordinator prior to the assignment of whether you will be in a charge position.
  • Industrial Nursing: Previous industrial or ER experience is required.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year recent clinical work experience in a medical/surgical unit of a hospital.
  • Satisfactory completion of a written RN Qualifying Exam in each area of clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
