Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. As a key member of our team, you will provide primary care and diabetes education to patients under the supervision of the Supervising Physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality primary care services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diabetes, focusing on education, prevention, and treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree level of education in Nursing or a related field.
  • A current license issued by the State of Maine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • CDCDES or BC-ADM certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Three or more years of experience in a physician's office setting (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
