Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and developing personalized care plans.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in compliance with agency policies and procedures, federal and state regulations.
  • Participate in patient education and training on self-care techniques and methods to improve or maintain patient functioning.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to assess equipment needs and ensure patients receive the necessary support.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Home health care experience preferred.
