Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, and delivering in-home nursing care to patients. This will include direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatments, and self-care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices
  • General knowledge of the healthcare industry and safety precaution policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
