The pay range for this position is $38 - $53.82 based on direct and relevant experience.

This position is eligible for an evening shift differential.

Radiology plays a critical role in diagnosis and treatment. As an MRI Technologist at RAYUS Radiology, you will operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Imaging (80%):

  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal scanning.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring offices, and other associates.
  • Communicate with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting good safety habits.

Department Support (15%):

  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing technical expertise.

Other Duties (5%):

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
