Nutrition Therapist

Job Summary

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Providence St. Joseph Health, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients. Working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will collaborate with other healthcare team members to plan and provide nutrition care. This includes conducting nutritional assessments, developing therapeutic plans, and educating patients on healthy eating habits. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' responses to medical nutrition therapy and making adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop therapeutic plans for patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
• Provide education and support to patients on healthy eating habits
• Monitor patients' responses to medical nutrition therapy and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field
• Washington Dietitian Certification or Washington Nutritionist Certification within 6 months of hire
• National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
