About the Role

As a Bakery Clerk at El Super, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
  • Assist customers with bakery purchases, clean shelving and display cases, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work with customers to take special orders and assist the baker in determining which items need to be baked or decorated.
  • Help maintain the department's cleanliness by hosing down floors with soap and water.
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift, stand, walk, and kneel as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • Hourly pay range: Minimum wage (depending on location) up to $16 per hour.
