As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans.
- Prescribe medications, recommend lifestyle modifications, and provide education to patients on healthy habits.
- Collaborate with the core PACT Team, including RNs and Medical Assistants, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in outreach events to support patient enrollment and retention initiatives.
- 4+ years of clinical medical practice experience, preferably in a government healthcare environment.
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Degree.
- Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
- Credentialed and in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment or any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS, as specified by individual VAMC contract.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor.
- Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.
