Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen. As a Frontend Coach at Walmart, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and driving the financial performance and sales of designated store areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop teams of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of designated store areas by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality experience.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring, as well as assigning duties and setting clear expectations.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
Requirements
  • 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Additional Compensation

Annual or quarterly performance bonuses, as well as additional compensation for certain positions, including Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure.
