Job Summary

College of DuPage is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Accountancy (Payroll/QuickBooks) courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for course planning and instruction in a classroom, lab, or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and instruction to students.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a combination of 18 hours of accounting courses and experience working in a bookkeeping role.
  • Previous work experience in payroll and knowledge of payroll software.
  • Knowledge of the payroll industry and opportunities for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching.
  • Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online.
