Job Title: Project Engineering Manager

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering design and execution of projects within the power generation, transmission, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and track power and energy projects from start to finish.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and other professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and staff members.
  • Analyze and manage risks and changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • At least 10 years of experience in power plants.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and other professionals.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of power and energy systems.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
