Speech-Language Pathologist

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time position. This role will involve providing speech therapy services to patients in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provides speech therapy services to patients under the guidelines established by each client location or service provider.
- Conducts screenings of patients to determine need for intervention/treatment, as requested by the client location or service provider.
- Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
- Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to clients, patients, family, and other team members.
- Establishes patient schedules in conjunction with other team members.
- Develops treatment plans by identifying a needs list, including short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members. Implements and conducts treatment outlined in treatment plan.
- Monitors patient's response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements:
- Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Successful completion of National Certification Examination.
- 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years.
- Valid SLP license in Florida.
