Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hibachi Cook to join our team at Hy-Vee. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of foods for our Market Grille.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of menu items, including hot and cold foods, to meet the high standards of our customers.
  • Ensure that all cooking surfaces are clean and well-maintained, and that food is stored and handled safely.
  • Monitor food levels and replenish as necessary to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Be knowledgeable about all menu items and able to take guests' orders with confidence.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve our kitchen goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
