Cardiac Sonographer with Ultrasound Expertise

As a Registered Cardiac Sonographer at Piedmont Newton Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced ultrasound technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to provide complex care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a PRN basis. This position involves performing inpatient and/or outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo/Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac ultrasound tests using state-of-the-art equipment
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the examination process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCL) certification
- Credential in echocardiography from either ARDMS or CCI
- Minimum two years of experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer preferred
Compensation Package:
Salary range: $75,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience
