Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Neurology

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neurology Unit at AdventHealth Tampa. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter a):

  • Practice of professional nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied practices of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.
Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Neurology Unit, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with courtesy when interacting with internal or external customers – in person or on the telephone.
  • Demonstrating respect for co-workers and developing positive working relationships with other departments.
  • Participating in hourly rounding for outcomes using the AIDET technique.
  • Incorporating Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Active RN license to practice in State of Florida.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • NIHSS.
