Avionics Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and electronic theories, with the ability to understand and follow wiring diagrams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, aligning, and wiring electrical and electronic components, including instruments, sensors, radio communications, antennas, J-boxes, lights, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the best location and method for installing and removing electronic equipment and systems.
- Fabricate wiring harnesses, solder connector plugs, strip and hand lug wiring, and perform terminal splicing.
- Route wiring and conduit, and perform any other electrical bench or installation work as necessary.
- Perform continuity checks and assist in the functional checkout of complete aircraft systems.
- Assist in performing more complex electrical work as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of relevant avionics installation experience.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic theories, including the ability to understand and follow wiring diagrams.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools and electrical test equipment.
- Willingness to obtain A&P license within a reasonable time upon hire.
