We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Clinical Nurse to join our team at WellStar Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, using evidence-based practice and best practices in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing with a BSN degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- National certification in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing (WOCN) preferred.
