Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and act as a patient/family advocate.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the general supervision of the Director.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching to ensure a smooth transition to home.
  • Act as a patient/family advocate to address any concerns or needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current NC or multistate RN licensure required.
  • BLS certification.
  • NRP certification required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.
  • At least 1 year L&D experience required.
