Industrial Technician

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled Mechanic - Industrial Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote safety throughout the operation, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, and wear parts replacement.
• Inspect equipment and structures to ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Monitor processes and materials to identify problems and ensure safety and materials compliance.
• Document and record information, including service and lubrication reports.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, as well as exposure to loud noises and varying weather conditions.
