Millwright Assistant

Zachry Group is seeking a skilled Millwright Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and troubleshooting
• Assist with the repair and replacement of worn or damaged parts
• Operate various tools and equipment, including engine lathes, grinders, and files
• Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Experience working with industrial equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer efficiency

• Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
• Will talk and hear to communicate
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
• May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs
