Overview

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Dallas, TX. This esteemed practice offers a collaborative environment where every member of the staff is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Practice

This well-established practice, with a team of 4 top-notch physicians, has been serving women in the Dallas metro area for over 30 years. They have a single practice location in Dallas, adjacent to Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), where they perform deliveries and GYN surgical procedures. BUMC is part of the Baylor, Scott, and White Medical System, connecting multiple care centers across Texas. The hospital provides the practice with a Level 4 NICU unit, the da Vinci robotic system, women's health subspecialists, and hospitalist support. Additionally, there is a residency program at BUMC, taking 5 residents per year, offering newly graduating resident physicians solid mentorship and training in private practice.

Practice Highlights
  • Growing practice with a solid team of 4 physicians and an in-house sonographer
  • 1 office location and 1 Hospital (Baylor University Medical Center) with a Level 4 NICU, OB/GYN Hospitalist support, a residency program, women's health subspecialists, and multiple da Vinci robotic systems
  • Many minimally invasive procedures are performed in the office or at an outpatient surgery center
  • Practice physicians work as a team but have a great deal of independence, including clinic template control and work-hour control
  • Call is on average 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Doctors currently work 4 days per week but this can be customized
  • Patient Census: 20/day on average
  • Average of 10-20 deliveries per month
