Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Lead Human Resources Specialist, providing strategic HR support to management teams; responsible for implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with operational goals.
- Design and execute HR plans, policies, and programs that support the objectives of the organization, focusing on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and engagement.
- Advise leadership on talent development to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and capabilities to meet business demands.
- Assist business partners in navigating the internal Performance Management System and addressing HR-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract, interview, and onboard new talent, providing resources to help new hires acclimate to the company culture.
- Analyze HR data to generate reports that inform management decisions and align HR actions with business needs.
- Conduct necessary HR training sessions, including compliance training on topics such as workplace conduct and safety protocols.
- Work with leadership to implement effective communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and information flow.
- Lead investigations into workplace policy violations, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
- Partner with legal and management on employee termination processes and address any employee relations issues that arise.
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives that promote an ownership mentality among employees.
- Engage with local HR partners to share best practices and address critical HR challenges.
- Utilize coaching and counseling techniques to foster positive change within the organization.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and identify trends, providing guidance to leadership on enhancing engagement.
- Support the development of an employee engagement strategy that drives organizational performance and change.
- Facilitate communication and training on HR practices to ensure effective talent management.
- Participate in business discussions, providing HR insights to support decision-making.
- Act as an advocate for employees, promoting effective employee relations.
- Assist in conflict resolution efforts, supporting supervisors and leadership in addressing workplace disputes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or HR certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with HR software systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
