Job Title: Deli Associate

DeRomo's Gourmet Market and Restaurant is seeking a skilled Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations on products.
  • Food Preparation: Slice meats, cheeses, and other products, and prepare sandwiches and salads.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, rotate products, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the deli counter, shelves, and storage areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to work with customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
