Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Labor and Delivery unit at Adventist Health. As a Nurse Lead, you will be responsible for providing unit-based leadership, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel, and ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, cost-effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, and physicians to develop and implement unit goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety goals, hospital policy, and quality measures
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality activities to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years' technical experience, with supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
  • S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
