Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for maintaining electrical components and equipment in a 24-hour coverage environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with instrumentation and control systems and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electrical components for ongoing projects
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment
  • Perform daily visual inspections on compressors and emergency generators
  • Maintain emergency lights and all lighting throughout the plant
  • Maintain the P.A. system and troubleshoot when needed
  • Maintain burners on all gas-fired production equipment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the maintenance director

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance or Electrical Trades
  • Thorough understanding of electrical principles and design
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and any shift as needed
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment:
The Industrial Maintenance Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level can be loud, and the temperature level can be hot during summer.

Salary: $20-$25 per hour
