Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, as well as maintaining accurate records and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter prescription information into the computer system, including patient searches, prescriber searches, and insurance billing.
- Retrieve medication from inventory and prepare prescriptions for dispensing.
- Assist pharmacists with patient consultations and provide information on medication usage and side effects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory.
- Contribute to a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
