Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to join our team at SCA Health. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during endoscopy procedures. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Protect patients from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources.
Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation.
Speak up with safety concerns and act as the patient's advocate.
Handle specimens according to facility policy and procedures.
Adhere to standard precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Perform interventions to maintain patient wound and tissue perfusion at or above baseline levels.
Perform interventions to protect patients from infection.
Protect patients' rights, dignity, and privacy.
Provide age-specific, culturally competent, ethical care within legal standards of practice.
Comply with Universal Protocol and facility site validation and time-out policy.

Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Prior experience as a GI Tech preferred.
Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Compensation:

Minimum: USD $27.00/Hr.
Maximum: USD $28.00/Hr.
