Job Title: Seamstress

We are seeking a skilled and experienced seamstress to join our team at Mac Duggal. As a seamstress, you will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments and other fabric-made articles to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructing garments and other articles according to specifications and preferences.
  • Altering or repairing garments and other articles, including hemming, mending, lengthening, and taking in and letting out seams.
  • Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order.
  • Using irons and pressing machines to erase creases on garments and other articles.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven sewing experience.
  • Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • Ability to safely use different types of sewing machines.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
