CT Technologist Job Description

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate our imaging equipment and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Prepare patients for scanning procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Perform routine and advanced scanning procedures, providing patient support and comfort
  • Adjust scanning parameters as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and colleagues
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain patient records accurately
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
  • Provide training and technical expertise to new associates

Requirements: A strong understanding of radiology principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
