Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at NYU Langone Health System. The successful candidate will perform all types of Echocardiography testing, assist physicians in delivering safe patient care, and work collaboratively with RNs and MDs to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echo, and other duties as assigned
• Capture digital cardiac images and perform measurements correctly
• Participate in quality control of equipment and escalate issues as needed
• Respond to stat calls and report life-threatening pathology to attending physicians

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program
• Appropriate credential in echocardiography (ARDMS, CCI, RDCS, RCS, or RCCS)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current and valid BLS certification
• Experience as an Echocardiography technologist in an outpatient setting
