**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead capital equipment projects to upgrade the entire plant
  • Manage huge investment projects within a growing manufacturing operation
  • Supervise engineers and project managers
  • Review and negotiate contracts
  • Implement commercial projects
  • Read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities
  • Troubleshoot and analyze problems
  • Implement participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives
  • Support plant/facility maintenance and work order systems

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Years of engineering experience
  • 5-10 years of capital project experience ($5-$10 million)
  • Demonstrated experience with capital project tracking and execution
  • Demonstrated contract review and negotiation experience
  • Demonstrated commercial projects experience
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities
  • Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated style of participative management

**Compensation:** $100K to $120K base salary + up to 15% in annual bonuses
