Job Summary

Versiti Inc. is seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist Driver to join our team. As a key member of our mobile phlebotomy team, you will be responsible for collecting blood and apheresis products from donors while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and apheresis products from donors while ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Interact with donors and coordinators to provide a high level of customer service and deliver an excellent donation experience.
  • Operate the mobile drive vehicle and transport staff in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform phlebotomy collections, donor screening, and mini-physicals while adhering to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Recognize and respond to donor reactions, provide post-reaction care, and assist other staff as needed.
  • Conduct automation, including recognizing and responding to automation reactions, and recruit and convert donors for automation.
  • Rebook donors for future donation appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve team objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with prior driving experience required.
  • Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information, and/or the use of simple equipment, machines, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, apply judgment to written or oral instructions, and organize work to provide productive workflow.
  • Flexibility to work independently and with a team, with good communication skills and the ability to provide feedback to peers.
