Career Overview

Career Crunch is seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a licensed therapist, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members.

Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with treating physicians, psychiatric professionals, and allied health teams to plan and direct individual member treatment programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental illness, participating in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, instructing and counseling patients and their families regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as necessary, maintaining ongoing confidential records of members' treatment and progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications, utilizing resources from public and private agencies to meet the needs of members' treatment.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral medicine and health psychology programs in various settings, including primary care.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Familiarity with DSM-V and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Salary

$75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
