Position Overview
The Preschool Assistant Teacher will operate under the guidance of a certified EEC teacher. This role involves supporting the lead teacher in various aspects of child care, classroom management, and communication with families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision and care of children
  • Maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of educational activities
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline
  • Compliance with Massachusetts EEC health and background screening standards
  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within six months of hire
  • Bilingual in English and Cantonese is preferred
  • Preferred EEC certifications
  • Experience working with young children
  • Excellent communication abilities
