Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the Defense Health Agency. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing diagnoses to patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their medical images and diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, surgeons, and primary care physicians, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our imaging services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state or territory of the United States.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
