Position Overview:
As an In-Home and Outpatient Therapy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. Your expertise will contribute to fostering healthy relationships and emotional resilience among clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, ensuring accurate information for treatment planning and billing processes.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment strategies aimed at enhancing attachment, self-regulation, independence, and social responsibility.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including educators and healthcare providers, to support client needs.
  • Provide emergency counseling via phone during and after office hours.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and supervision sessions as required for licensure.

Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related discipline is required.
  • Current licensure as a clinician (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT, LAC) is mandatory.
  • Board Certification in expressive therapies (Art, Music, Dance, etc.) is encouraged.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in counseling children and/or adults.
  • At least three years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Ability to work in both outpatient and in-home environments.
  • Experience in treating individuals with significant emotional challenges.
  • Proficient in utilizing the DSM for clinical assessments.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to follow complex directives.
  • Capable of producing routine reports and correspondence.

Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of child development and family dynamics.
  • Experience in child abuse treatment.
  • Background in expressive/art therapy and/or play therapy methodologies.
  • Experience in marriage and family therapy.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly valued.

  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with mobile applications.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Ability to interpret clinical documents and manuals.
  • Consent to and pass a criminal background check.
  • Adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit are highly regarded.
