KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research Project Leadership

  • Take ownership of research projects from inception to completion, ensuring a focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish clear research goals, methodologies, deliverables, and timelines for each initiative.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
  • Develop data-driven hypotheses and design robust experiments for validation.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new data sources, technologies, and methodologies to enhance research capabilities.

Focus on Business Impact

  • Utilize your innovative mindset, curiosity, and analytical skills to discover new research avenues and challenge existing paradigms.
  • Convert research outcomes into actionable insights and provide recommendations that influence strategic decision-making and help achieve business objectives.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business while building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Encourage stakeholders to adopt research-driven solutions and monitor KPIs to assess their effectiveness.

Technical Expertise and Mentorship

Act as the technical authority for the Research Analytics team, sharing best practices and fostering continuous improvement.

Guide analysts in data interpretation, advanced statistical methods, and research techniques.

Review and critique team members' outputs, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics, research, and data science, disseminating knowledge within the team.

Promote a culture of innovation, ongoing learning, and creative problem-solving within the Research Analytics team.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated Research Expertise
  • 8+ years of experience in a research analyst role or a similar capacity.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale research projects with significant, measurable business results.
  • Extensive experience in hypothesis development and experimental design, including T-tests, Chi-Square, ANOVA, A/B testing, and Random Control Trials.
  • Experience in authoring white papers and contributing to influential research publications.
  • Proven ability to identify and leverage both internal and external data resources to facilitate innovative research.

Analytical Proficiency

  • Advanced skills in SQL and Python or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Significant experience conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on large datasets to uncover patterns and anomalies.
  • Expertise in applying advanced statistical techniques, including regression analysis, time series analysis, and clustering.
  • Skilled in analyzing diverse data types, including transactional, clickstream, social media, survey, and geospatial data.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders, building trust through consistent communication and high-quality outputs.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including task prioritization, risk mitigation, and stakeholder expectation management.
