  • 3 years of experience in statistical analysis.
  • 3 years of experience in energy data evaluation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor vehicle record review).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Manages system analysis (computer) database operations.

Delivers annual power supply forecasts essential for power supply agents, contractors, and schedulers.

Provides analytical support to the Energy Scheduling and Research Teams.

Compiles statistical data for electric utilities, including retail sales figures, work order statistics, outage reports, and line mileage.

Develops and reviews load data, load duration curves, and load forecasts as part of the planning process.

Maintains RUS Inventory of Work Order Inspection List or Electric Work Orders for close-out processes.

Maintains data on electric and purchased power costs.

Responsible for data collection and database entry for planning activities.

Processes joint use applications with telephone and television companies.


Gathers information on electrical transmission and distribution construction and assists in preparing statistical reports for RUS Inventory and other assigned reports.

Assists in establishing power supply requirements and contracts.


Maintains and updates RUS Study Forms for Power Requirements, Electric System Loss Study, Construction Work Plans, Maintenance Work Plans, Integrated Resource Plan, and Long Range Plans.

Reviews and recommends approval of all electric purchase power, wheeling, and related invoices.

Prepares load schedules for electric purchase power requirements.

Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.
