About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Evernorth Health Services in Falls Church, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual primary care treatment to employees in an employer-based setting, including chronic condition management, referrals, virtual wellness exams, and ordering labs and imaging.
  • Collaborate with onsite RN health coaches to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education to employees.
  • Recommend and order immunizations based on USPSTF preventive services guidelines and ACIP.
  • Work with the RN health coach to refer patients into wellness programs and follow-up on all referrals.
  • Manage members of the healthcare team, including MAs and RNs, and partner with local HR/Benefits teams to improve employee health.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Certified NP program.
  • Active and unrestricted NP license in VA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine, family practice setting, or onsite health center.
  • DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
  • Electronic Health Record experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to travel to client sites in Fairfax County, VA.
  • Ability to potentially be licensed in all 50 states.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NP license in multiple states.
  • Experience working in the onsite industry.
  • Experience doing virtual care.
  • Chronic Disease Management experience.
  • Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education.
