We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Evernorth Health Services in Falls Church, VA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide virtual primary care treatment to employees in an employer-based setting, including chronic condition management, referrals, virtual wellness exams, and ordering labs and imaging.
- Collaborate with onsite RN health coaches to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education to employees.
- Recommend and order immunizations based on USPSTF preventive services guidelines and ACIP.
- Work with the RN health coach to refer patients into wellness programs and follow-up on all referrals.
- Manage members of the healthcare team, including MAs and RNs, and partner with local HR/Benefits teams to improve employee health.
- Graduate of a Certified NP program.
- Active and unrestricted NP license in VA.
- Minimum of 3 years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine, family practice setting, or onsite health center.
- DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
- Electronic Health Record experience.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to travel to client sites in Fairfax County, VA.
- Ability to potentially be licensed in all 50 states.
- NP license in multiple states.
- Experience working in the onsite industry.
- Experience doing virtual care.
- Chronic Disease Management experience.
- Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education.
