As a Resort Events Security Representative at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, as you will be interacting with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Interaction: Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, outgoing manner, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Event Support: Assist with the execution of resort functions in various locations, including events, promotions, and entertainment.
- Parking and Traffic Detail: Direct traffic, assist with valet parking, and patrol parking lots as needed.
- Security and Surveillance: Maintain a visible presence and respond to security incidents as needed, ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and resort functions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or security role preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically mobile, able to lift up to 20 pounds, and stand for long periods.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
