Senior Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Colorado.
About the OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity for a physician to work in a 50-bed acute-care hospital, Level III Trauma Center, located in Northeastern Colorado, approximately 70 miles outside Denver. The hospital has a med-surg unit consisting of 12 beds, a 6 bed ICU, and a 14 bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical management for the GBHU, which would be every third day unless there is a new admission. Average daily census on med surg is 5 and GBHU is 12. Average LOS for med surg is 3 days and 20 days for the GBHU.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a Hospitalist Physician
- Manage a med-surg unit and a 6 bed ICU
- Provide medical management for the GBHU every third day
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be Board certified or Board eligible within 6 years of completing residency. A background in Critical Care is strongly preferred, and you must be comfortable with vent management.
