Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operates machinery while ensuring a consistent production flow and maintaining quality standards.
  • Efficiently moves pallets, boxes, and materials to designated areas while preserving the integrity of the items.
  • Unloads materials from trailers, verifies roll numbers and weights against shipping documents, and organizes items in the warehouse.
  • Accurately finishes and labels products according to customer specifications.
  • Utilizes scanning technology to track the relocation of materials and finished goods.
  • Records weights of materials and products on appropriate tags and production schedules.
  • Completes necessary documentation for shipping and inventory requisitions.
  • Conducts routine maintenance on machinery, including lubrication and battery checks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of equipment using air hoses.
  • Monitors equipment performance and reports any issues to management.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Follows OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Completes tasks as assigned by management.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree from an accredited institution or trade school.
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar role within the printing or manufacturing industry.
  • Completion of Safety Orientation and OSHA Standards Training is mandatory.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Proactive in seeking clarification on tasks and responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with colleagues.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Compliance with all safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions.
  • Capable of presenting information clearly in both individual and group settings.
  • Ability to apply common sense to solve problems in standardized situations.
