Position Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients across various age groups. This position involves providing specialized pharmacy services, facilitating the coordination of Clinical Pharmacy initiatives, and ensuring the enhancement of quality in pharmaceutical care. The specialist also collaborates with clinical generalists and offers vital clinical information to both healthcare professionals and patients.

Qualifications:
Required: Valid Pharmacist registration in New Jersey, experience in hospital pharmacy settings, strong interpersonal abilities, and a solid understanding of healthcare practices. Familiarity with Hospital Pharmacy protocols and completion of necessary training is essential.

Preferred: Relevant certifications and licenses as required.

Scheduling Requirements:
Part-Time, 22.5 hours per week, including 2 Day shifts and 1 Evening shift weekly, along with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in direct patient care
- Educate healthcare professionals regarding medication utilization
- Foster effective working relationships
- Adhere to medication use policies
- Prepare and oversee medications and IV admixtures for patients of all ages.
