About the Role:
Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional autism services. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in overseeing the quality and implementation of clinical programming for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise personalized care plans with meaningful goals and programming to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments of patients to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure they have the necessary skills and support to deliver high-quality services.
- Develop and monitor data collection to track patient progress and inform treatment decisions.
- Provide parent training and education to empower families to support their child's treatment plan.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with patient families and respond to their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop effective interventions.
- Communicate regularly with the Clinical Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination of care.
- Provide weekly update emails or facilitate team meetings to keep stakeholders informed of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Uphold regular treatment integrity checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collection.
- Adhere to relevant CPT codes and billing guidelines to ensure accurate and compliant reimbursement.
Requirements:
- BCBA certification issued by the BACB.
- Meet licensing requirements for the state of employment.
- Experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with experience as an RBT counting towards newly certified BCBAs.
- Confident verbal and strong written communication skills.
- Ability to pass internal competency assessments within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
