The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission and sales objectives by delivering exceptional customer service, efficiently processing transactions, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. This position embodies our Trusted Advisor strategy, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide accurate, friendly, and prompt service to meet customer needs during all transactions.
  2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of retail products and services to enhance customer interactions.
  3. Follow the Six-Step Experience guidelines to ensure high-quality service.
  4. Maintain a balanced cash drawer in accordance with performance standards, reporting discrepancies as needed.
  5. Handle currency transactions and ensure compliance with cash limits.
  6. Assess deposited checks and determine funds availability, completing necessary documentation.
  7. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively, ensuring consistent service delivery.
  8. Identify sales opportunities and refer customers to appropriate departments as necessary.
  9. Provide information on interest rates, service charges, and account histories while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  10. Exhibit a positive representation of the organization through professional conduct.
  11. Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  12. Coordinate service requests with other departments as required.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant computer applications and business equipment.

Work Environment:

This role is conducted in a professional office setting, free from hazardous conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must be able to perform essential functions, including standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity.
